Meadowdale first, Edmonds-Woodway second at Battle Creek match | Boys prep golf

The Meadowdale boys golf team earned a win on Monday, March 24, while Edmonds-Woodway finished in second place at Battle Creek Golf Course.

The Mavericks finished with a team score of 287, while Edmonds-Woodway had 303 on the 18 hole par 54 course.

Individually, Meadowdale’s Trevor Frisby was the medalist after shooting a 53, followed by teammate Joey Haughney with a score of 55. Nate Glazewski shot 57, Jack Stutz hit 60 and Bennett Park hit 62.

For Edmonds-Woodway, Marcus Lynch shot 58, Ben Arrants hit 59 and EJ Tilt hit 61. Tony Tilt also hit 61 and Drew Gradwohl shot a 64.

The Warriors will compete on Tuesday, March 25 at Mill Creek Country Club against Jackson, Cascade, Kamiak, Lynnwood and Mariner at 2 p.m.

Meadowdale will take on Mountlake Terrace, Glacier Peak, Shorecrest and Shorewood on Wednesday, March 26 at 3 p.m. at the Nile Golf Course.
