Meadowdale falls to Marysville-Pilchuck in extra innings | Prep baseball

After a tied score in the first inning, the Meadowdale baseball team went on to play 10 innings against Marysville-Pilchuck on Wednesday, March 26 before losing 5-4.

The Mavericks and Tomahawks were tied 4-4 after one inning of play, and the score remained the same through  another nine innings. In the bottom of the 10th, Marysville-Pilchuck scored the game winning run, earning the Tomahawks the win.

The Mavericks had four runs off three hits and one error, while Marysville-Pilchuck posted five runs off 10 hits and had six errors.

Meadowdale's Dakota Barlament went 2-4 at the plate with an RBI.

The Mavericks, now 0-2 this season, will host Marysville-Getchell on Friday, March 28 in a 4 p.m. game.
