Meadowdale beats Stanwood, holds on to top spot in league | Prep volleyball

The Meadowdale volleyball solidified it’s top spot in the league on Thursday, Oct. 10, beating Stanwood in three games. The Mavericks won 25-19, 25-23, 25-21.

Juliana Falk had four kills in the win, while Amy Rickel added 22 digs for the team. Kaylan Cummins had nine kills, Sloane Morrison posted 11 kills, nine digs and was perfect from the serving line.

The team is 4-0 in league games and 7-2 overall this season, ahead of second place Mountlake Terrace which is 3-0 in league and 6-2 overall.

The Mavericks will play Oak Harbor at home on Tuesday, Oct. 15 at 7 p.m. before taking on Mountlake Terrace at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 17.
