Aug. 6

Theft 3 – 900 blk Spruce St.

A theft occurred when suspects stole items from a victim’s unsecured vehicle while it was parked on the street in front of the victim’s residence overnight. There was no information on the suspect(s) or evidence at time of report.

Suspicious Circumstances – 1000 blk Main St.

A property manager observed an occupied truck at a property for rent, and asked the occupant why he was at the residence. The driver made a comment about burning down the property and left. The manager didn’t think subject was serious, but wanted a police report of the incident.

Aug. 7

Trespass – 23800 blk Hwy. 99

A suspect trespassed at a business creating a disturbance, making a mess, and refusing to leave.

Trespass – 23600 blk Hwy. 99

A suspicious subject was wandering inside the hallways of a law office complex, and was criminally trespassing.

Malicious Mischief – 2300 blk 75th Ave. W.

Officers were called about damage done to vehicle.

Aug. 8

Theft 3 – 23600 blk Hwy. 99

A male subject stole alcohol from a local store for the third time. The subject stole alcohol from the same store on two separate occasions on Aug. 6 and Aug. 7. When he returned on Aug. 8, he was identified and arrested.

Warrant – 22000 blk Hwy. 99

An assailant was contacted, found to have a warrant, arrested without incident, and booked into the Snohomish County Jail.

Warrant – 22100 blk Hwy. 99

The police contacted a subject that committed a pedestrian violation. A routine check revealed outstanding warrants. A field meet and prisoner transfer with Bothell Police Department on confirmed warrant took place.

Found – 22500 blk 76th Ave. W.

An employee of a storage business located syringes in a vacated unit.

Theft 3 – 23600 blk Hwy. 99

A male shoplifter at Safeway was reported. The suspect was believed to be a repeat offender.

Suspicious – 23100 blk 74th Ave. W.

Police received a suspicious persons call about two people removing property from a shed at a vacant residence.

Theft – 100 blk Sunset Ave. S.

A victim’s parked vehicle was entered, and an attempt was made to steal it by breaking into the steering column to gain access to the ignition wires.

Traffic – 19800 blk Hwy. 99

A female was arrested on outstanding warrants, and cited for traffic violation.

Theft 3 – 22900 blk Hwy. 99

A customer failed to return rental property to a local business.

Malicious Mischief – 700 blk Main St.

A City of Edmonds building was tagged with graffiti overnight. There was no evidence or suspect information at the time of the report.

Found – 8500 blk 212th St. S.W.

A caller located a wallet near the 8500 blk of 212th St S.W., and contacted a subject who said the wallet was stolen from a casino in Mountlake Terrace. The wallet and ID were returned.

Aug. 9

Court Order Violation – 21600 blk Hwy. 99

During a traffic stop of an unlicensed driver, police discovered the passenger was violating a domestic violence no contact order with the driver listed as the petitioner. The passenger was booked into Snohomish County Jail.

Theft – 100 blk Railroad Ave.

A victim’s vehicle was stolen from a parking lot overnight. There was no information on the suspect or items of evidence at the time of the report.

Liquor – 90 blk Main St.

Two subjects were involved in a verbal/physical dispute; neither party wished to pursue assault charges. One was cited and released for minor in possession.

Liquor – 700 blk 13th Way S.W.

Police responded to a call about a suspicious person crashing around in the backyard of the caller’s residence, which led to an arrest for minor in possession.

Assault 4 – 9400 blk 244th St. S.W.

An assault 4 domestic violence arrest was made, and the assailant was booked.

Warrant – 21900 blk Hwy. 99

A male was arrested on two outstanding misdemeanor warrants out of Everett.

DUI – 1100 blk Fifth Ave. S.

A driver was arrested for driving under the influence.

Found – 9300 blk 236th St. S.W.

Mail that was obviously stolen was found discarded in landscaping on school property.

Trespass – 23600 blk Hwy. 99

A female trespassed at the Dollar Tree.

Aug. 10

Court Order Violation – 21600 blk 79th Ave. W.

An adult male was arrested for violating a domestic violence no contact order.

Found - 7900 blk Talbot Rd.

A debit card and gift card were found in the roadway.

Theft 2 – 8700 blk Talbot Rd.

A gym bag was stolen from a residence. The victim was visiting when uninvited teens crashed a party. Some of the contents were recovered.

Theft 2 – 23200 blk 100th Ave. W.

A found backpack led police to pursue a mail theft investigation.

Aug. 11

Vehicle Recovery – 7300 blk 224th St. S.W.

A vehicle reported stolen to Mountlake Terrace Police Department was found parked and unoccupied in Edmonds.

Theft 2 – 19500 blk 82nd Pl. W.

A victim reported stolen credit and debit cards. The victim knew the subject, and told police the subject used the cards to take money from their account.

Assault 4 – 23700 blk 104th Ave. W.

A male was assaulted by a bicycle rider after a near collision.

Theft 2 – 700 blk Seventh Ave. S.

Unauthorized access of a credit account was reported.

Malicious Mischief – 100 blk Sunset. Ave. S.

A victim reported that the windows and mirrors of their vehicle were marked with lipstick.

Vehicle Recovery – 22200 blk Hwy. 99

A vehicle reported stolen to Mountlake Terrace Police Department on Aug. 5 was found parked and unoccupied in an Edmonds motel parking lot.
