The Edmond's Lions Club recently had Peggy Kennedy, Edmond's Food Bank Director and Bob Dixon, Manager attend their meeting on Jan. 14 to receive a check in the amount of $4050.

The project started for the Lions Club in May rounding up 25 generous merchants to donate gift certificates.  Those merchants were Demetris, Arnies, TOP FOODS, Girardi's, Las Brisas, Cafe De Paris, Romeo's, Rusty Pelican, Chanterelle, Red Petal, Walnut Street Coffee, Channel Marker, Pancake Haus, Petosas, Arista Wine Cellar, Water Front Coffee, Hamburger Harry's, Namas Candy, E.Pu.Lo and Tullys Coffee.

The Lion’s Club sold raffle tickets at the Saturday Market, Car Show, Edmond's Art Walk and all the local markets... plus individually.  The club wants to thank everyone who donated to this project.
