Kudos to the Curmudgeon | Letter

Editor, The Beacon:

Many thanks to Mr. Pierre for his recent column on the unnecessary and expensive construction at Five Corners.

We have traveled through that intersection oftentimes twice a day for over 25 years. I have never seen an accident there.

I have never been delayed to the point that I wished there was a light or roundabout. I do not know anyone in the area who was in favor of this project.

The money could have been better spent, or not spent at all. Did you say $3.5 million?
