King's falls to South Kitsap in first match of season | Girls prep soccer
The King's girls soccer team played their first match of the season on Monday, Sept. 9, falling to South Kitsap 2-1.
King's Beth Stella was the first to score, off an assist from Abby Jenkins in the 19th minute.
King's held the lead until late in the second half, when South Kitsap's Kira Slanely scored an unassisted goal in the 62nd minute, followed by a Kelley Crabs unassisted goal in the 78th minute.
