Kings boys seventh, girls fifth at South Whidbey Invite | Prep cross country

The King’s cross country team traveled to the South Whidbey Invite on Saturday, Sept. 21, where the boys team finished in seventh place and the girls took fifth overall.

The boys earned 244 points, while the girls team earned 133 points.

In the boys race, Andrew Ayers finished in third place in 16:35, while Tyler Ward finished in 36th place in 18:20. Matt Jackson finished in 18:39 for 47th place, while teammate Andrew Brodsky finished in 48th place overall in 18:45.

In the girls race, King’s Kacey Kemper finished in third place in 19:33, while Lily Kleven was 24th in 21:53. Rachel Mills finished in 22:07 for 26th place, and Amelia Culp was 44th in 22:41. Krystal Brodksy finished in 48th place in 22:54.
