King’s girls win King’s Cross Invite, boys finish third | Prep cross country
The King’s cross country team’s hosted the annual King’s Cross Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 28 at the school’s campus.
The Knight’s girls team won with 36 points, while the boys finished in third place with 67 points.
In the girls race, Kacey Kemper finished in third place with a time of 19:04, while Krystal Brodsky took seventh overall with a time of 20:52. Lily Kleven was 10th overall in 21:22, Rachel Mills finished in 11th place in 21:39 and Gillian Edgar was 12th in 21:54.
For the boys, Andrew Ayers won the race in 16:22, while teammate Ryan Mills was 12th overall in 17:52. Matt Jackson finished in 15th place in 18 minutes and Andrew Brodsky was 23rd in 18:31.
King’s will compete in the Twilight Invite on Saturday, Oct. 5 at Cedarcrest Golf Course in Marysville.
