King’s blanks Cedarcrest 6-0 | Girls prep soccer

The King’s girls soccer team shut out Cedarcrest in a 6-0 game on Thursday, Oct. 24.

The Knights jumped to an early 3-0 lead after goals by Beth Stella and Anisa Uberuaga. The pair would finish the game with two goals a piece and Stella would earn three assists. Skye Cornell and Anna Parker also scored for the Knights, with Abby Jenkins adding an assist. Goalie Madeline Nielson was credited with the shutout.

King’s is 11-2 in league and 11-3 overall this season. The Knights will face Coupeville on Saturday, Oct. 26 in an 11 a.m. game.

The post season begins Oct. 30 with the 1A District tournament held at King’s High School.
