King’s beats Friday Harbor 7-1 in district tournament | Girls prep soccer
The King’s girls soccer team beat Friday Harbor 7-1 in the first round of the Cascade Conference district tournament on Wednesday, Oct. 30.
During the game, King’s scored three goals in the first 13 minutes, and added three more in the final minutes of the match.
Anisa Uberuaga had a hat trick during the game, while teammates Anna Parker, Beth Stella, Syke Cornell and Nicole Jacobsen all scored goals.
The team is now 13-3 this season and will face Lynden Christian in the district semifinals on Friday, Nov. 1 at 4 p.m. The winner will play in the district championship game on Nov. 2 at 4 p.m. The top four teams advance to the Tri-District tournament which begins Nov. 5.
