Kamiak dominates against Meadowdale | Boys prep lacrosse

The Kamiak boys lacrosse team earned a dominating win over Meadowdale on Thursday, March 20 at Kamiak High School.

The Knights won with a final score of 21-7 over the Chiefs.

The Knights led 6-2 after one quarter of play, and added four more points in the second quarter to lead 10-2 at halftime.

The Knights outscored Meadowdale 7-4 in the third quarter and 4-1 in the fourth to earn the win.

Kamiak's Steele Fosth had six goals during the game with two assists, while Tyler Keele posted four goals, three assists and three ground balls. Liew Rust posted three goals as did teammate Alex Indelicato, while Jackson Finnerty added two. Miles Craggs, Stellan Davis and Jacob Schmidt all scored one goal.

Goalie Ian Carlson had seven saves during the game.

For Meadowdale, Jordan Tindall made four goals, with Gavin Harwick scoring two and Charlie Baillagreon scoring once. Goalie Domenic Spino had three saves and Conner Daniel made seven saves for the Chiefs.

Kamiak, now 1-1 this season, will host Everett on Friday, March 28 at 8 p.m. at Kamiak High School.

Meadowdale, now 0-1 this season, will host Everett on Wednesday, March 26 at 7 p.m. at Meadowdale High School.
