Jackson beats Edmonds-Woodway 7-0 | Boys prep tennis

The Jackson boys tennis team earned a league win over Edmonds-Woodway on Thursday, Oct. 10. The Timberwolves won 7-0.

In singles matches, Max Teer lost 6-1, 6-0 to Ben Mietzner, while Brandon Chen lost 6-2, 6-4 to Peter Cung. Grant Follis beat Grayson Turley 6-2, 6-2 and Arun Kabkhe lost to Luke Georege 6-4, 6-2.

In doubles matches, Riley O’Brien and Chase Holmes lost to Nicholas Magarelli and Bence Dare 6-2, 6-2 and Connor Santel and Kit Teer lost to Josh Yi and Trevor Pence 6-0, 6-0.

Edmonds-Woodway is 7-5 in league matches and 7-6 overall this season. The team will travel to Cascade on Monday, Oct. 14 for a 3:30 p.m. match and will host Mariner on Tuesday, Oct. 15.
