An annual family holiday tradition has become Sno-King Community Chorale’s Holiday Magic concert.

The 102-voice choir, under the direction of Frank DeMiero, will once again perform popular favorites as well as some perhaps unfamiliar, but equally joyful, selections.

The date: Saturday, Dec. 8,  at 3:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. at Edmonds Center for the Arts, 410 – 4th Ave. N, Edmonds.

Children from Holy Rosary School in Edmonds will join the chorale in several songs as there will be a “story” set to music.

The whimsical “I’ve Been Good“; Christmas Was Meant for Children”; a Family Holiday Medley; “Pie Jesu,” the beautiful movement from John Rutter’s Reqieum; “Parade of the Wooden Soldiers”; “Sleigh Bells”; “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas”;  and the majestic “Hallelujah Chorus” from Handel’s Messiah, are among the musical fare performed by the popular chorale, now in its 12th  year.

“Our concerts are the best buy in town,” declares Chorale president Julie Waterman. Adults are $20; seniors and students, $15; and children 12 and under, $10.

Groups of 10 or more receive a discount. Tickets are available by calling 425-275-9595 or using the form on www.sno-kingchorale.org.

A limited number of the Brothers Four Golden Anniversary CD, on which the Chorale appears, will also be available at intermission for only $20.
