Lynnwood Police Detectives need the public’s help in identifying a man who robbed a Subway store in the 16900 block of Highway 99 in Lynnwood on Sunday, Oct. 21.

No one was hurt after the suspect entered the store during the busy lunchtime hour and ordered a sandwich.

When it was time to pay, he instead communicated to the clerk that he was armed and demanded money. The clerk gave the suspect money and he then left the store with the cash and his sandwich.  911 was called, police responded and a K9 track yielded negative results.

While there were other customers in the store at the time of the robbery, no one seemed to notice a crime was being committed.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 20s. He is about 5’ 8” with a medium build. He was wearing large-framed sunglasses, a bright orange beanie under his dark-colored hoodie and jeans.

Anyone with information regarding this case should call Lynnwood Police Detective Jorgensen at 425-670-5632.
