Headline used poor choice of words | Letter
Again you have printed a headline that is suggestive of wrong doing by a teenager who died (“Teen killed by falling tree not on main trail,” March 16).
Seventeen-year-old Diana Olidinchuk has lost her life from a falling tree while walking in a park with friends after church. So what if she was off the trail. Your headline disregards this young lady's loss of a future, along with her friends and family.
Shame on such a poor choice of words.
Editor: The headline referred to quote from the director of the parks department.
