Hawks vs. Broncos in a food drive challenge

Jan 31, 2014

To get in the spirit of the upcoming Super Bowl, Edmonds United Methodist Church and the Edmonds Food Bank are participating in a food drive challenge to collect the most non-perishable food items by game day, Feb 2.

The United Methodist Churches in the greater-Seattle area have challenged the United Methodist Churches in the greater-Denver area to a food drive.

The challenge is to see which metro area can collect the most food items before the big game.

If you would like to participate, drop your items off at the food bank at Edmonds UMC, 828 Caspers Street, Edmonds, between now and Feb. 2.

More information is available at www.unitedinblue.org.

If you would like to make a monetary donation, you can either drop off cash or checks to the church office Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Electronic donations can be made at: http://www.edmondsumc.org/giving. Put “United in Blue” in the additional instructions portion of the PayPal form.

Support the Hawks by supporting the Edmonds Food Bank.
