December is the final month for Snohomish County PUD customers to take advantage of incentives that help them conserve energy in their homes. These incentives expire Dec. 31.

Efficient clothes washers

The PUD offers rebates of $50 or $100 for approved efficient clothes washers. Take advantage of the offer through Dec. 31. More information is available at the PUD website at www.snopud.com/appliancerebates.

Fridge recycling

Your old, energy-wasting second fridge or freezer is wasting you money – about $200 this year and $200 every year you keep it. The PUD will haul it away for free and recycle it safely.

Recycle your unit by Dec. 31, and you’ll receive a $30 PUD incentive. Also take advantage of a free fridge or freezer haul away from the PUD.  Call 877-577-0510.
