When the Edmonds Historical Museum’s Garden Market kicked off Saturday, May 6, in Edmonds, isitors may have been surprised to see a new addition – alpacas, which actually made their debut at the close of the Summer Market last year.

They are courtesy of Duvall-based Heart of Dreams Alpacas. Carrots are available for feeding the furry ones.

If you want to get your own fill of carrots, look for the carrot cake display across the way.

The farmers market continues 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturdays through June 10.

The larger summer farmers market begins June 17.
