Former NFL quarterback Jon Kitna to speak at annual Y Prayer Breakfast

More than 600 community members and business/religious leaders are expected to gather at Comcast Arena’s Edward D. Hansen Conference Center on Good Friday, March 29, for the 53rd annual Good Friday Prayer Breakfast sponsored by the YMCA of Snohomish County.

The Prayer Breakfast from 6:45-8:30 a.m. is a community event designed to bring the community together in a nondenominational setting to give thanks and seek guidance for the year. Comcast Arena is at 2000 Hewitt Ave., Everett.

Featured speaker Jon Kitna is a retired NFL quarterback who played 16 years (1996-2011) with four teams: Seattle, Cincinnati, Detroit, and Dallas.

He also spent three months playing in the World League, between his first and second seasons in Seattle, playing with the Barcelona Dragons.

Jon was renowned for his leadership ability and professionalism, as well as exceptional quarterback play, during his NFL career.

He has become a highly sought after speaker, with a focus on Christianity, Leadership, Marriage, and Parenting.

Since retiring from the NFL, Jon accepted a position as a high school teacher and head football coach at his Alma Mater, Lincoln High School, in Tacoma.
