Mar 15, 2012

Fidelity Investments® today announced the opening of its new investor center in Lynnwood, Washington.

Located at 18825 33rd Avenue West, adjacent to the Alderwood Mall, the new 5,700 square-foot office is a state-of-the-art facility that provides area investors with more access to investment guidance, as well as Fidelity’s broad array of products and services.

Fidelity now has 169 investor centers around the country, including four offices in the Seattle metro area.

“Fidelity’s decision to open a full-service investor center in Lynnwood was really driven by the needs of our customers," said Maurice Moore, vice president and branch manager of the new office. “While investors can access Fidelity’s guidance and investment tools via Fidelity.com or by telephone, those with more complex needs related to retirement and retirement income planning, investment management or other important financial goals prefer to meet with representatives in person. We've heard from our customers in the region that having that in-person access is important to them, and we're happy to be opening our doors here in Lynnwood to provide more of that one-on-one service."

Fidelity® conducted extensive site analysis, surveys and focus groups to identify the best design elements for the new branch.

As a result of that research, a number of features and enhancements were made that will directly benefit Fidelity customers including increased access to Fidelity representatives and technology, private client consultation areas, additional retirement planning resources and on-site seminar facilities.

“Every aspect of the customer experience has been considered in designing this space to create an inviting and engaging environment,” said Moore. “Our new location will make it easier for local investors to come in and work with Fidelity’s representatives as they make important financial decisions.”

Fidelity investor centers provide customers with education, innovative technology and one-on-one guidance1 to help them develop strategies for a variety of financial goals. At Fidelity’s 169 local branches, investors can work with a Fidelity representative to:
