EvCC offers new aerospace composite technician certificate
Everett Community College is offering a new aerospace composite technician certificate, with classes starting July 2.
The 31-credit certificate was designed in cooperation with industry subject-matter experts to meet the needs of the growing aerospace composite field.
It will provide entry-level knowledge and skills for employment in the composite industry, said Annette Floyd, EvCC Air Washington program manager.
The certificate satisfies the technical core of the two-year Associates of Technical Arts degree and is part of the pathway to a four-year Bachelor of Applied Science degree offered through Central Washington University through the University Center of North Puget Sound at EvCC’s north Everett campus.
The certificate is supported by the Air Washington grant funded by the U.S. Department of Labor’s Employment and Training Administration.
