Edmonds-Woodway third at Purple Cup tournament | Boys prep golf
The Edmonds-Woodway boys golf team started the season on Monday, March 17 with a third place finish in the Purple Cup tournament at Whidbey Golf and Country Club.
The team earned a score of 453. Lake Stevens won the event with a score of 442, while Oak Harbor was second with 443.
Individually, Drew Gradwohl scored an 85 on the par 72 course, while Dylan Merrill shot an 88. Tony Tilt hit 91, EJ Tilt shot 94 and Marcus Lynch shot 95.
The Warriors will host the team’s first home match of the season on Thursday, March 20 at the Nile Golf Course at 3 p.m. against Cascade, Lynnwood, Mariner, Monroe and Snohomish.
