Edmonds-Woodway takes down Chargers 10-2 | Softball

Edmonds-Woodway maintained its hold of first place in the Wesco 3A South softball standings with a dominating victory over Marysville-Getchell.

The Warriors pounded out 13 hits to beat the Chargers 10-2 Tuesday, April 11, at Marysville-Getchell High School.

Senior Kendra Cooper was 4-for-4 with two RBI and two runs and sophomore Gracie Boyd was 2-for-4 with three RBI. Junior Ciara Ortiz was 3-for-4 with a double and two runs.

Junior Mariah Woolley scattered five hits in the complete-game effort.

The Warriors improved to 6-0 in the league and 6-2 overall.
