Edmonds-Woodway shuts out Monroe | Girls prep soccer

The Edmonds-Woodway girls soccer team earned its seventh league win on Thursday, Oct. 10, beating Monroe 2-0.

Warrior Rylee Peterson scored both goals for the team, while she was assisted by Savanah Van Citters. Goalie Kiera Towell was credited with the shutout.

The Warriors are 7-1-1 in league games and 7-2-1 overall this season. The team will host Arlington on Tuesday, Oct. 15 at 7:30 p.m. before taking on Mariner on Thursday, Oct. 17.
