Edmonds-Woodway hires new boys basketball coach

Edmonds-Woodway High School announced late last week that the school has hired a new boys basketball coach.

Jason Hopkins will take over this winter, leading the Warriors as the team's head coach. He graduated from Edmonds-Woodway in 2004, and played basketball at Cochise College in Arizona, as well as, Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tenn.

After graduating, he was an assistant coach at Cochise College for two years. Hopkins also coached at Roosevelt High School in Seattle and was the head coach at Mid-Pacific Institute in Hawaii.
