Edmonds-Woodway falls to Shorecrest at Bothell tournament | Boys prep basketball

The Edmonds-Woodway boys basketball lost it’s final game of the Bothell Holiday Tournament on Monday, Dec. 30. The Warriors fell 66-41 to Shorecrest.

Shorecrest led 19-6 after the first quarter, and outscored the Warriors 12-10 in the second to lead 31-16 at halftime.

In the third quarter, Shorecrest outscored Edmonds-Woodway 21-15, and upped the scored by 14 points in the final minutes of the game.

Jason Smarr scored 14 points for the Warriors in the loss, while Theo Lebesis scored 10 points. Travis Bakken added nine for the team, Brady Edwards scored five points, while Jordan Rice had two points and Antonio Sherrill scored one point.

The Warriors are 2-6 this season and will host Kamiak on Thursday, Jan. 2 in a 7:15 p.m. game.
