Edmonds-Woodway falls to Arlington | Prep wrestling

The Edmonds-Woodway lost a Wesco meet to Arlington on Tuesday, Jan. 7. The final score was 42-26 for the Eagles.

In the 106 weight class, Ebrima Fatty lost by 9-4 major decision, while Sidat Kanyi lost the 113 division by fall in 4:33.

In the 120-weight class Gabe Baltazar won by fall in 5:45 and Nathan Nash won the 126 division by technical fall 17-1.In the 132-weight class, Jordan Lindamood lost by fall in 2:37, and Jonah Cortezzo lost by fall in 5:18 in the 138 division.

Trevor Hendricks lost the 145-weight class by fall in 1:36, while Nathan Vulliet won the 152 division by 3-0 decision.

Justin Funn lost his 160-weight class match by 12-9 decision, Jonah Perez won the 170 match by 7-2 decision and Jasen Turnquist won the 220 weight class by 10-4 decision.

Cole Akers won his match in the 285 weight class by a fall after 1:22.

The Warriors will take on Jackson on Friday, Jan. 10 at 7 p.m.
