Edmonds-Woodway defeats Lynnwood 4-3 | Boys prep tennis

The Edmonds-Woodway boys tennis team defeated Lynnwood on Tuesday, Sept. 24. The final score was 4-3 for the Warriors.

In singles, Lynnwood’s Ryan Tsuji beat Max Teer 4-6, 6-3, 6-1, and Brandon Chen beat Thu Yein 6-4, 6-1. Grayson Turley beat Brandon Pel 6-4, 6-2 and Lynnwood’s Matthew Hwang beat Andres Sabates 6-1, 6-4.

In doubles, David Jorgenson and Chuoung Pham beat Chase Holmes and Riley O’Brien 5-7, 7-6 (3) 6-1, while Lynnwood’s Connor Santel and Kit Teer beat Htet Thu and Phil Ho 6-4, 6-4.

The Warriors are 2-3 in league and 2-4 overall this season. They will host Lake Stevens on Wednesday, Sept. 25 in a 3:30 p.m. game and will travel to Snohomish on Thursday, Sept. 26.
