Edmonds-Woodway competes at UW Sundogger Invitational | Prep cross country

The Edmonds-Woodway cross country team traveled to it’s first invitational meet of the season, the UW Sundogger Invite on Saturday, Sept. 14.

The Warriors boys team finished in 15th place with 396 points, while the girls team also 15th with 432 points.

In the boys race, Miler Haller had the team’s top finish in 14th place, running to a 15:28 finish. Teammate Elliot Harrison was 88th overall, Benjamin Yang was 96th and Noushyar Eslami was 101st. Kyle Aitken finished in 124th place, followed by Jacob Henricksen in 128th and Jonah Cortezzo in 131st. Anindo Khan finished the race in 152nd place with a time of 18:43.

In the girls race, Hailey Kettel finished in 20th place with a time of 19:11, while Kathryn Haldeman was 59th overlal in 20:07. Megan Kelly finished in 139th and teammate Isabel Callen was 140th overall.

The Warriors will travel to the Nike Pre-national competition on Sept. 28 in Portland, Ore.
