Edmonds-Woodway Black Student Union showcases black history month
Students in the Edmonds-Woodway High School Black Student Union recently put on a special presentation honoring Black History Month.
The hour-long program was put together outside of school time, and told a narrative of black history through music, dance, skits and video.
The program was led by student president Rahwa Beyan and vice president Salem Abraha, with help from advisors Michael Richards and Loleta Dyton-Jackson.
Last week, teachers from the school brought classes to watch the performance and learn from fellow students.
