Edmonds-Woodway bests Snohomish 4-3 | Boys prep tennis

The Edmonds-Woodway boys tennis team earned a non-league win over Snohomish on Thursday, Sept. 27. The final score was 4-3 for the Warriors.

In singles, Max Teer lost 6-1, 6-0 to Andrew Ivelia, while Brandon Chen beat Jory Strickland 6-2, 7-5. Grayson Turley beat Kincaid Norris 6-2, 6-0, and Andres Sabates lost to Cam Marchant 6-1, 6-2.

In doubles, Riley O’Brien and Chase Holmes beat Colton Casto and Collin Gagnon 6-4, 1-6, 7-6 (7-3). Conner Santel and Kit Teer beat JJ Doucette and Hunter Graver 6-1, 1-6, 7-6 (7-5). Evan Lester and Quinn Walker lost to Drake Wilson and Adam Ivelia 6-2, 6-0.

Edmonds-Woodway is 4-3 in league games this fall and 4-4 overall. The Warriors will play Arlington in a home match on Monday, Sept. 30 at 3:30 p.m.
