Edmonds-Woodway beats Mount Vernon | Girls prep swimming

The Edmonds-Woodway girls swimming team earned a conference win on Thursday, Oct. 17, beating Mount Vernon 101-69.

The Edmonds-Woodway 200 medley relay team of Julianna Epoch, Luci Brock, Djenne Dickens and Josie McCloughan won with a final time of 2:01.41.

Epoch also won the 200 freestyle race in 2:13.55, followed by a win in the 100 freestyle race in 1:01.85 while Brock won the 200 individual medley race in 2:17.30. Dickens earned the 50 freestyle title with a time of 25.09 and the 100 butterfly race in 1:07.77.

McCloughan won the 500 freestyle race in 5:54.55 and the team of Dickens, Epoch, McCloughan and Brock won the 400 freestyle relay in 4:04.67.

The Warriors will compete in the Edmonds District meet on Saturday, Oct. 26 at the Lynnwood Pool at 2:45 p.m.
