Edmonds-Woodway beats Meadowdale | Girls prep swimming

The Edmonds-Woodway girls swimming team beat Meadowdale on Thursday, Oct. 10 during a dual meet with Lynnwood and Mountlake Terrace. The Warriors won 93-77.

Meadowdale won the 200 medley relay with Keane, Victoria Nguyenle, Osterberg and King in 1:58.63, while Nguyenle went on to win the 200 freestyle in 2:05.27.

Edmonds-Woodway’s PJ Kambhiranond won the 200 individual medley race in 2:46.70, and teammate Luci Brock won the 100 butterfly in 1:02.25. Keane won the 100 freestyle for Meadowdale in 52.53, while Warrior Josie McCloughan won the 500 freestyle in 5:53.48.

The Edmonds-Woodway 200 freestyle team of Kambhiranond, Levin, Peterson and Erika Tang won in 1:58.98. Tang won the 100 backstroke in 1:11.70.

Meadowdale’s Osterberg, Keane, King and Nguyenle won the 400 freestyle race in 3:53.72.

Edmonds-Woodway will compete against Kamiak on Tuesday, Oct. 15 at the Lynnwood Pool at 2:45 p.m., followed by a meet against Mount Vernon, also at the Lynnwood Pool on Thursday, Oct. 17.
