Edmonds-Woodway beats Lynnwood 5-2 | Boys prep tennis

The Edmonds-Woodway boys tennis team beat Lynnwood 5-2 on Thursday, Oct. 17 in the teams last regular season match.

In singles matches, Max Teer lost 6-4, 6-3 to Ryan Tsuji, while Brandon chen beat Thu Yein 7-5, 6-3. Grayson Turley beat Brandon Pel 6-2, 5-7, 6-1 and Arun Kalokhe beat Matthew Huang 6-3, 6-3.

In doubles matches, Riley O’Brien and Chase Holmes lost to Choung Pham and Alex Mellen 7-5, 7-5, while Kit Teer and Connor Santel beat Htet Thu and David Jorgenson 2-6, 6-4, 7-5. Bryan Song and Adam Gill beat Amer and Samer Kouttianay 6-1, 7-5.

The Warriors finish the regular season with a 10-5 league record and 10-6 overall this season. The team will begin the post season with the 4A south division tournament at Jackson High School on Tuesday, Oct. 22.
