By Megan Managan | Oct 29, 2013

The Edmonds-Woodway and Jackson girls soccer teams battled to a 0-0 tie on Monday, Oct. 28. The Warriors and Timberwolves remained tied for the league title with a 11-1-2 league and 11-103 overall record this season.

The Warriors will play Lynnwood on Wednesday, Oct 30 at 7:30 p.m. at Edmonds Stadium in the final game of the regular season.

If Edmonds-Woodway and Jackson win their final regular season games on Wednesday, the two teams will likely be co-champs of the league, and under tie-breaker rules the Warriors will likely earn the No. 1 seed going into the 4A District tournament. If the Warriors are the No. 1 seed, Edmonds-Woodway will play it’s first post season game on Tuesday, Nov. 5 at home against the winner of the Jackson vs. Monroe game on Saturday, Nov. 2. The winner of next Tuesday’s match goes to the district championship game on Nov. 7 and is guaranteed a spot in the 4A state tournament.

Playoff information will be updated as the tournament brackets are finalized.
