Edmonds School District honors athletes

Courtesy of: Dorian Studio The Edmonds School District recently honored student athletes the districts graduating class during a special banquet last week. Those honored included four from Edmonds-Woodway High School and four from Meadowdale High School.

The Edmonds School District held it's annual high school scholar athlete banquet last week, honoring students and coaches throughout the district for their work on and off the field.

Athletes honored from Edmonds-Woodway High School include Tate Budnick, Djenne Dickens, Savanah VanCitters and Travis Bakken. Students from Meadowdale included Chikodinaka Ezeokeke, Josiah Evans and Megan Hoppe, as well as Annelise Blanchard.

Coaches honored during the banquet included Warriors baseball coach Dan Somoza and Meadowdale cheer coach Kimberly Berry.

Honored community contributors included Chris Thuesen from Edmonds-Woodway and Debra Davenport from Meadowdale.
