Western Washington University student Morgan Savannah Heetbrink, daughter of Cindy and Dennis "Dutch" Heetbrink of Edmonds, received the $1,225 Sene and Louella Carlile Theatre Arts Scholarship for the 2012-2013 academic year.

The Sene and Louella Carlile Theatre Arts Scholarship is awarded to outstanding students whose work is concentrated in Theatre Arts, and whose studies are related to improvements of the use of the English language.

Heetbrink graduated from Edmonds-Woodway High School in 2009, and is a Senior at Western with a 3.65 GPA majoring in Theatre Arts.

Heetbrink participates in the Murder Mystery Club at Western, is a Club Hub Intern and works in Western’s Financial Aid Office. She plans to graduate August 2013 and hopes to teach college theatre.
