Edmonds Heights production wins 5th Avenue Theatre award
The Edmonds Heights K-12 production of "Pippin" was recently honored during the annual 5th Avenue Theater awards.
The ceremony, held on June 9, featured the production winning the top honor - named the Best Musical.
The awards, which honor outstanding achievement in high school musical theater in the state, included 121 productions this year.
Along with winning the best musical award, Tyler Good was named best actor in a feature ensemble role for this worked in 'Shrek the Musical', while Mariah Lotz earned best actress in a featured ensemble for the same production. Amelia Burnett earned a special honor for student achievement.
Shileah Corey directed both 'Shrek the Musical' and 'Pippin'.
