John Hartquist from the Edmonds Driftwood Players is bringing George Brackett back to life at the Waterfront Coffee Company.  This is an amazing opportunity to experience the theater up close and "really" personal.

George Brackett was many things to Edmonds … the founder, the first mayor, the first postmaster, and a logger extraordinaire.  He was one of 20 kids and with his wife Etta bore 6 kids of his own.  He bought up land and at one point owned property from the shore to the bowl in downtown Edmonds.  George was a character!  Who else would register two of their livestock as residents … he needed 300 registrations to incorporate Edmonds.

We hope everyone will come by and talk to George.  He will be glad to tell you about his life in Edmonds while you enjoy a cup of java from the Waterfront Coffee Company.

The Waterfront Coffee Company is also partnering with the Edmonds Historical Museum with this exciting event.  You are invited come to the museum and pick up a historical photo/fact and take it to George Brackett and he'll see that you get 10% off your order at the coffee shop.
