Edmonds Film Fest – Sending Hope
The Edmonds Film Festival seeks to both promote the arts in Edmonds and fight the injustice of sex trafficking.
It is holding its “Third Edmonds Film Festival – Sending Hope” on Sunday, May 19 from 6 – 8 p.m., at the Edmonds Center for the Arts.
College20s has partnered with Abolition International to promote awareness of this important issue and to raise funds to support the aftercare of women saved out of sex slavery all around the world.
The whole Edmonds community is invited to dress in your favorite formal gown or suit and join them for an evening of short films written, filmed, directed, and produced by local filmmakers and students at the Edmonds Center for the Arts.
The Festival will begin at 6 p.m., but be sure to join them on the red carpet at 5:30 p.m. to mingle with hundreds of others from our community, have your photo taken, peruse the promotion tables in the foyer from local businesses and non-profits, and of course, find a good seat!
