Edmonds Chamber launches search for new CEO
Ron Clyborne, president of the Edmonds Chamber of Commerce board of directors, announced last week that a search is underway to find a new president/CEO for the chamber.
Clyborne said the board reviewed the chamber’s staffing, financial and overall needs, and determined it needs strong staff leadership to move forward in 2014.
The winning applicant will be responsible for developing and managing the organization’s $750,000 budget, including supervision of a staff of 2-5 people, he said.
“The president/CEO will be responsible for leadership and management of the chamber, a nonprofit organization that exists to promote the economic vitality of the greater Edmonds business community, through advocacy, leadership and education,” Clyborne said in an announcement to the membership.
The hiring process is being conducted by the board’s Search Committee.
