Edmonds artist on display at contemporary art fair

Nov 06, 2013

Edmonds resident James Martin with Foster/White Gallery will have his artwork showcased at the Affordable Art Fair, opening today through Nov. 10 at the Seattle Center Exhibition Hall.

Seattle is one of only two U.S. locations for The Affordable Art Fair, and the event will feature some of the best local galleries, including the Linda Hodges Gallery, James Harris Gallery and ArtXchange, to name a few.

The event gives local residents an opportunity to browse and shop among thousands of contemporary art pieces all under one roof, and at a variety of price points, ranging from $100 - $10,000, with more than half priced under $5,000.

Visitors can find original paintings, prints, sculptures and photographs.

In addition to the artwork itself, the fair offers unique programming including a wide variety of artist talks, panel discussions, cocktails, workshops such as printmaking, kids’ activities and more.
