E-W thespians to stage The Dining Room
Students at Edmonds-Woodway High School are putting it all on the table when they stage the production The Dining Room, written by A. R. Gurney.
A drama with comedic twists, The Dining Room is set in a single dining room in a well-to-do household where 18 scenes from separate time periods and families intertwine.
Some scenes are based around the furniture or the room itself, whereas others focus on the characters at crucial moments in their lives.
The Dining Room is a patchwork play of overlapping scenes – some funny, some emotional, and some intense. It is sure to be engaging and relatable for all.
The cast is comprised of the student members of Edmonds-Woodway Play Production group.
Performances will be at 7 p.m. Thursday Nov. 21, Friday, Nov. 22, Saturday, Nov. 23, and at 3 p.m. Sunday Nov. 24.
Tickets are $7 at the door and $5 for students with Edmonds-Woodway ASB cards.
