Drivers: Please be courteous when parking downtown | Letter

Oct 17, 2016

I am a big fan of trying to keep my dollars in Edmonds. It goes without saying, that the parking is tight in the downtown area.

With the holiday season approaching, it is more important than ever to maximize our parking spaces. I constantly see people parking one car in a space designed for two. The parallel parking spaces are clearly outlined.

Please be courteous.

Pull your car, or back it up to the line. Leave just enough space between cars to easily maneuver your car out. Be aware that there are others who, if they can’t find a space, will go somewhere else to eat or shop.
