The Edmonds Driftwood Players present an original production by a local playwright titled “Loss: A Play about a Violin” by Elena Hartwell at the Wade James Theatre, 950 Main St., Edmonds.

Mother isn't herself, everyone has a secret, and someone named Harold is out in the rose garden. Two brothers come to terms with the lives they have led and the futures in front of them in this exploration of love, loss, music, and family.

“Loss” is produced by Carissa Meisner Smit and directed by Diane McClure. It features Thomas A. Glass, Eileen McCann, Dennis Moore, Oscar Valenzuela and Mary Kay Voss.

Performances are Jan. 10 – 13, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 8 p.m.; Sunday at 2 p.m.
