Apr 01, 2013

The Edmonds Driftwood Players present the hit musical: “Godspell” by John Michael Tebelak with music and new lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, at the Wade James Theatre, 950 Main St., Edmonds.

It's been called "a family-friendly show that deserves to run forever!"  Generations of kids have grown up listening to the unforgettable music.

Performed on major stages all over the world and just revived on Broadway, Godspell tells of the life of Christ in parables from the gospels of Matthew and Luke.

This beautiful classic story is also fun and fresh!

By Stephen Schwartz and John-Michael Tebelak, the show features tons of great one-liners like the immortal "C'mere, Jesus, I got somethin' to show ya."

You'll recognize musical hits like "Prepare Ye" and "Day by Day."
