Summer is finally here and the 2012 Summer Concerts in the Park are heating up. Join the Edmonds Arts Commission for a FREE performance by David Correa and CASCADA.
Enjoy the smooth sounds of Latin Guitar World Music on Sunday, July 29, at 3 p.m. and plan to dance in the afternoon sunshine.
All concerts are held in Edmonds City Park located at 3rd and Pine in downtown Edmonds.
Bring the family, lawn chairs or blanket and join us for some great music and family entertainment.
David Correa and CASCADA come from San Francisco where they have built a reputation for being one of the best Latin Bands in the Bay Area.
The group has a strong Latin and Spanish sound, but also blends Latin Folk and Rumba rhythms fused with Middle Eastern melodies, creating their own distinctive style.
CASCADA was named the Best Latin Band in the North Bay for three consecutive years. David Correa and CASCADA will certainly get the crowd dancing at this Sunday’s concert.
This year’s Summer Concerts in the Park series is generously sponsored by Lynnwood Honda and Acura of Lynnwood. Concerts are presented by the Edmonds Arts Commission on behalf of the Edmonds City Council and are accessible to persons with disabilities.
In the event of rain, the concert will be cancelled at 2:30 pm. The next Concert in the Park is August 5th and features the MoodSwings Jazz Band performing Big Band Songs.
