Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University offered In EdmondsPopular program begins the day after Tax Day
Tax Day can be particularly stressful, so what better time to begin the journey to financial peace than the day after taxes are due?
North Sound Church is offering relief in a safe and supportive environment for families to work through financial challenges together.
Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University kicks off Wednesday, April 16.
The course will run for nine weeks, meeting weekly from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at 5th Place in The Gregory Building at 505 5th Ave S, Edmonds.
Anyone interested in learning more is welcome to attend the first session on free of charge.
There will also be a class preview at 11 a.m. Sunday, April 13, at North Sound Church.
For the $93 registration fee, participants receive a kit that includes DVDs, book by Dave Ramsey, workbook, chart to track progress, and a lifetime membership to Financial Peace University.
According to the Dave Ramsey Website at http://www.daveramsey.com/fpu, the average family pays off $5,300 in debt and saves $2,700 in the first 90 days.

Frank and Ailsa Yamamoto will be leading the course for North Sound. Frank Yamamoto, who has 30 years’ experience in executive management, teaches a finance class at Edmonds Community College.
Formerly with the Edmonds Chamber of Commerce, Ailsa (Kellam) Yamamoto has an MBA in organizational behavior, and teaches finance and leadership at the college. Email email@example.com to register for the course.
