Confessions of an Octogenarian
CONFESSIONS OF AN OCTOGENARIAN:
"Challenge for chip company to keep pace as wafers expand" reads the headline in the newspaper's business section.
Being partial to potato chips, I'm in favor of any new variety. Wait a minute! If a chip expands into a wafer -- wouldn't that make it a "cracker?"
Reading beyond the headline, I'm confounded with electronic devices that offer me nothing as satisfying as a crunchy, salty potato chip.
"Why does that reporter have an Etch-A-Sketch on her lap?" I asked my daughter during a newscast. "That's an ipad," she answered.
